Shokudô’s private dining and events space brings the energy of a lively Japanese beer garden to Charleston. Perfect for birthdays, wedding welcome receptions, or any gathering worth celebrating, the space can host 12 to 28 guests for a non-private seated event, 29 to 34 guests for a seated private event, and up to 55 guests for a strolling reception.

Set against the backdrop of an open-air tavern atmosphere, your guests will enjoy robata-grilled skewers, shareable plates, and crafted drinks designed for conversation and connection. Our team will create a family-style menu that brings the spirit of Japan’s beer gardens to life—without ever leaving King Street.
